The Council of the European Union has drawn conclusions for Albania, where it evaluates the results achieved by SPAK.

The Council of the EU says that SPAK has hit corruption at a high level.

Also, he emphasizes that SPAK and GJKKO have a good cooperation with EU law enforcement and member states.

"The Council positively evaluates the good results achieved by the Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Structure Specialists (SPAK) and its courts, including high-level cases of corruption and good cooperation with EU law enforcement and member states. This should continue, including cooperation on financial investigations, should be strengthened. Consolidated controls and capacities are also needed to protect the EU's financial interests. The Council recalls the importance of maintaining efforts to create a solid track record in the fight against organized crime and corruption, including at the highest level. The Council welcomes the progress made in the field of public administration reform and encourages Albania to continue the implementation", underlines the Council of the European Union./ CNA
