The Ministry of Defense has reacted to the earthquake that was registered this Tuesday in Dibër.
The ministry announced that the 3.8 magnitude earthquake had its epicenter in Selishte.
Fortunately, there were no injuries or material damage.
The Ministry has announced that the National Civil Protection Agency is continuing to follow the situation.
"According to the preliminary data of the Institute of Geosciences, at 18:01.37 an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale was felt. The epicenter was recorded in Selishte, in the district of Dibra, with a depth of 15.2 km. The tremors were also felt in the areas around the epicenter.
According to preliminary communications with local government representatives, the civil defense structures of Burrel Municipality and Dibër District did not report any material damage.
