A storm of dismissals is happening at the Kruja Police Station.

3 days after the barbaric violence of members of the Rraja tribe against two people from the Maja tribe, the entire police force in Kruja was dismissed.

The news was confirmed by the State Police itself.

"Following the measures taken, the entire staff of the enforcement and management levels of the Krujë Police Station will be renewed and the Director of the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, Chief Tonin Vocaj is the operational manager and responsible for matters of order and security, in the jurisdiction territorial of this police station", it is stated in the police announcement.

The dismissals in the Kruja police took place immediately after the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi, held a meeting with the Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku.

The sackings come three days after members of the Rraja tribe barbarically beat 2 people with the surname Maja in Fushë-Kruje, for a quarry in the village of Borizane. Footage of the barbaric violence was filmed by members of the Rraja tribe and shared online.

Bilbil Maja and Jashar Maja were taken to the hospital after their injuries, while the police intervened late.

For the serious incident, 5 members of the Rraja tribe have been declared wanted: Xelal Rraja, Flamur Rraja, Klajdi Rraja, Rexhep Rraja, Përparim Rraja and Edison Meta. So far, Ineidi Rraja, Eni Kullaj, Kujtim Përdaku and Andi Rraja have fallen into police custody. Meanwhile, on Saturday, the persons with the initials L. Rr., D. Rr., H. Rr. and A. Rr. were accompanied/ CNA.al
