The National Food Authority has blocked beef without a seal and without a veterinary certificate in Korça.

According to the AKU, the meat was being transported by truck, outside the hygienic and sanitary conditions for products of animal origin.

AKU imposed a fine of 600,000 Lek on the person responsible for the meat, who was not registered with the relevant bodies to trade and transport with refrigerated vehicles.

The inspection bodies of the National Food Authority, in cooperation with the Economic Crime Korçë, have exercised control and detained an individual yesterday evening, who was transporting beef without a stamp and without a veterinary certificate in a truck-type vehicle.

The vehicle with which the meat was transported did not meet the hygienic-sanitary conditions for transporting products of animal origin. The responsible person was not registered with the relevant bodies to trade and transport refrigerated meat.

For the detected violations, the inspection body of the AKU imposed an administrative measure of "fine" in the amount of 600,000 ALL and blocking of the meat with the destination of disposal.
