This is what the Deputy Minister of Health, Entela Ramasoçaj, declared this evening.

She said in a television appearance that Albania has no shortage of specialist doctors in public hospitals.

The Deputy Minister of Health stated that doctors and nurses are free to move, while she emphasized that those who have had work experience in developed countries are welcome to return

"Last year we increased the quotas by 100, this year by 50 more, next year by 50 more. We do not have data that the data of the departure of our health staff has increased, but it is definitely free. Doctors, nurses are free to move.

The important thing is that we have managed to meet the needs for specialist doctors in our regional and municipal hospitals. We have no shortage of specialist doctors in public hospitals. This is a dynamic issue, doctors are definitely free to move, just as they can return after they have had a work experience in developed countries", underlined Ramasoçaj./ CNA.al
