On December 6, at the start of the protest, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was punched by 31-year-old Geri Shehu.

The latter was neutralized by Berisha's security forces, as they could not prevent the 32-year-old.

Two days after this event, Berisha appeared in public, where he participated in an activity organized by the FRPD on the occasion of December 8, "National Youth Day".

Berisha was seen today with the same security forces that he had the day he was hit by the 31-year-old.
