The executive director of the Albanian Policy Center, Edith Harxhi, participated in the Balkan Forum in Budapest. During her speech, Harxhi emphasized the negative consequences of migration.

She stated that a significant reason why people leave their country is the globalist agenda. While she described it as the greatest existential threat today, Harxhi says that the globalist agenda has destroyed the concept of the family unit everywhere in Europe.

"A significant reason why people leave their country and why we have such a wave of migration is the globalist agenda. The globalist agenda has destroyed, in general, the concept of the family unit everywhere in Europe, and as far as European civilization is concerned, this is perhaps the greatest existential threat today," Harxhi said.

The Budapest Balkan Forum (BBF) is one of the flagship conferences of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs. As it has been since the launch of the BBF in 2016, the forum’s goal is to bring together decision-makers, policymakers and the expert community to discuss the most pressing trends and opportunities shaping the Western Balkans, as the future of Europe is inseparable from that of the Western Balkans. /CNA
