"A pressure from outside and a strong movement from within"/ Zhulali:

The Director of the Department of International Relations at the Democratic Party, Ilda Zhulali, has commented on the decision of the Socialist Party to reject SPAK's request to lift the immunity of MP Belinda Balluku. In an interview with Syri TV, Zhulali said that the decision was expected.

Among other things, she stated that only "external pressure" and a strong movement by the opposition and citizens can bring about the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama from office.

"With the last decision he made about Mrs. Balluku, in fact all of us in Albania were more or less convinced that this would be his choice, but perhaps in the European Union there are still people who believe that Edi Rama is sincere in his promises to implement reforms, to establish European standards in Albania. With this last decision, he once again removes the mask from his face and shows that he has already completely taken on the features of an autocrat and only a very strong threat from outside, so a very strong pressure from outside and a very strong movement within all citizens and the opposition together will make it possible, are the only ways to make him leave office.

But he has no point where he can stop, there is no limit, because now the loop is stuck at the end. Before that, we also saw the last attempt that he made together with Vu?i?, because both of them are in a difficult internal political crisis, where they jointly asked the European Union to interrupt the full membership processes for the Balkan countries and turn our relationship into a trade relationship only, just so that Albania and Serbia would be removed from the political conditions. And of course, this has not found a place and will not find a place. On the contrary, he continues to receive direct answers from the EU. Today, there was another senior German official, Peter Beyer, who is also a reporter in the Bundestag for the Western Balkans, who, as he himself said, is in continuation of an official visit that he conducted with the German Foreign Minister Wadeful when he came to Albania, but contacts with the parties have continued and he came today to continue the pressure that he started in November, " said Zhulali. /CNA
