"FOCUS" 1,000 police and 20 drones in action/ More than 17,000

1,000 police officers and 20 drones have been engaged in the field as part of the police mega-operation coded "FOCUS".

7287 other cannabis sativa narcotic plants were destroyed by burning, which were found cultivated in villages and mountainous terrains of Lezha, Shkodra, Tropoja and Kruja.

The police have identified and declared wanted 3 perpetrators of cultivation in Kurbin, as well as initiated criminal proceedings for 1 perpetrator of cultivation in Tropoja.

Also, criminal proceedings have been initiated, for abuse of office, for 1 village head and 1 forest inspector of the Kurbin district, as well as for 1 village head of the Tropoja district.

The details with the number of plants destroyed in the respective areas and with the persons identified and announced in search are as follows:

??670 plants were destroyed in the territories of 4 villages of Lezhë, Mirdita and Kurbin municipalities, as a result of the 38th phase of the "Image" operation.

-As a result of the in-depth investigative actions, the Police identified and declared wanted the suspected perpetrators of the cultivation of 122 destroyed plants in the village of Gërnac, citizens JA, 35 years old, SA, 25 years old and LH, 48 years old, all three residents of Milot . The work for their capture continues.

-Also, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for the cases of cultivation of narcotic plants in 2 villages, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status, for the citizens IB, 51 years old and M. Gj., 37 years old , respectively village mayor and forest inspector, in Gërnac and Vinjoll, Kurbin district.

??5800 plants were destroyed in the territories of 7 villages of Shkodër district, as a result of the 16th phase of the "Clean Alps" operation. Investigations continue to determine the authorship of these cases.

??410 plants were destroyed in 4 villages of the Tropoja district, as a result of the 10th phase of the "Bjeshket e Nemuna" operation.

-Policia identifikoi dhe inicioi procedimin në gjendje të lirë për autorin e dyshuar të kultivimit të 133 prej këtyre bimëve, në fshatin Curraj i Epërm, shtetasin M. N., 19 vjeç, banues në Shkodër. Vijojnë hetimet për të identifikuar dhe për të nxjerrë përpara përgjegjësisë penale, bashkautorët e kultivimit të këtyre bimëve.

??407 bimë u asgjësuan në malësinë e Krujës, si rezultat i fazës së 38 të operacionit “Territor i pastër”. Vijojnë hetimet për përcaktimin e autorësisë së këtyre rasteve.
