They came for vacation and found their homes raided/ Immigrants protest in

A group of Albanian immigrants who have just arrived in the country for vacation have risen in protest today to express their dissatisfaction and revolt against the work of the police after finding out that their homes were raided and stolen by thieves.

The protest took place in the village of Synej in Kavaja.

“Here is bo nami. Here all the houses are stolen, people are sleeping, people are stressed. It's been two weeks since I arrived, and I haven't seen a single policeman at night," one of the protesting immigrants told the media.

"They broke into my house twice at night when I was out. I came now to the front yard, but they tried to get inside. Now this state is forcing me to pick up the slack and solve this problem myself. It's forcing me to become a murderer because there is no problem here that can be solved."

"5 pairs of shoes were stolen in one day"

Also, they have stated that the apartments have been massively stolen during the last months.

'We called the police and they answered that we have nothing to do with you. They didn't mind at all. They are presented only when the votes come, they are presented only to impose the fine. When there are thieves, when there is a problem, these are not visible at all."

"I go to the cave and sleep on the ground. Those rags that I put on my back I was tortured with work that I did. You come steal from me. What is this so. There is a state or there is no state. Then who is to blame here. I say with conviction that these 4-5 grains are cooperating with the police."

"It's becoming nami. There are over 300 islands that have become ice. There is no police here, there is no state here."

These have been some of the statements of the protesters, who are seeking solutions and protection from the State Police bodies.

The police of Kavaja have stated that during the 8 months of this year, 20 thefts were registered in this village, of which 11 cases were solved./ CNA
