A 59-year-old man from Kosovo who had rented out his apartment in Saranda held 6 Italian tourists hostage for about 1 hour in this apartment.

According to the Kosovar, the reason for this is the fact that the tourists had damaged some equipment.

The 59-year-old man with the initials JA, a resident of Pristina, was captured by the police, and the citizens were released from the apartment.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë, for further action, for the criminal offense "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty"./ CNA
