Two people have been criminally prosecuted in Shkodër because they were standing in the middle of the road axes, to beg together with 1 and 5 year old children, and were endangering their lives, the lives of the children and obstructing traffic.

In 2 cases, minors and babies were used by their relatives to beg, and by performing this illegal activity in the middle of the road, they were a source of danger. 

For these 2 cases, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions, for the criminal offense of "Mistreatment of minors", for citizens DJ, 64 years old and LJ, 20 years old, who were found in the middle of the road, nearby of the Bahçalek bridge, while they were begging with their grandson and child, 5 and 1 years old, respectively.

Controls against this illegality will continue.

The police of Shkodra appeals to parents and citizens not to use minors for economic activities inappropriate to their age, as in addition to being an illegality punishable by the Criminal Code, this action also damages the child's psycho-emotional health./ CNA
