CNA has learned from official sources that SPAK has deepened its investigations into the mayor Erion Veliaj and his thieving directors.

The sources indicate that there are hundreds of pages and documents that the SPAK prosecutors were able to secure after the property investigations for Veliaj and his arrested thief directors as well as those who are under investigation.

While Veliaj walks around handing out party cards, no more than 20 people go to meetings.

Through dozens of letters SPAK has been able to discover many documents, payments and transactions related to the assets of the directors of Erion Veliaj and the activities of the mayor of Tirana and his family members.

CNA has learned from official sources that SPAK has been able to identify a clear scheme of money circulating from Veliaj's brother's company in the media and from the incinerator companies in the media, i.e. the beneficiaries of public funds who through third parties pay for it then received as a benefit the propaganda and support of Erion Veliaj.

Cases have also been identified when some media were paid to attack SPAK and the prosecutors of this institution, which are part of the investigative files, and very soon in the coming days concrete actions are expected from SPAK prosecutors against other officials of the Municipality of Tirana and up to the suspected corruption or the investigations that are being carried out for the mayor Erion Veliaj./ CNA
