Exclusive/ SPAK and BKH teach in the Municipality of Tirana, two trucks with

BKH and SPAK yesterday organized an operation in the City Hall of the capital.

Official sources told CNA that, yesterday, BKH officers, following the orders of the SPAK prosecutor, went and seized a mountain of files and documents in this institution.

The same sources for CNA pointed out that there are almost two trucks with documents which were taken by BKH officers for some issues that are under investigation in relation to the Municipality of Tirana.

We emphasize that one of the biggest issues is that of the incinerators, followed by the 5D file for which dozens of people have been arrested and most of the close associates of Erion Veliaj, senior officials of the Municipality of Tirana are behind bars.

Also, CNA has learned that documents have been withdrawn for other issues such as the demolition of the Theater, the construction of May 5, the towers in Tirana and so on and many other documents which serve the investigations in relation to many issues with the Municipality of Tirana.

CNA has on several occasions emphasized that the case of the Municipality of Tirana and Erion Veliajt has not been closed even though the mayor wants to behave like a spiderman and constantly, through the brawls of the political tables and his clientelism, declares that he has closed the cases.

In fact, a property investigation has been started against Erion Veliaj, dozens of letters have been sent to banks and private institutions regarding the assets of Erion Veliaj, his wife, his brother and other family members and relatives of the mayor of Tirana who may have received money in a corrupt manner, directly or indirectly from the mayor.

CNA has also emphasized that the investigations are ongoing, not finished.

The incinerator of Tirana is already a structured criminal group. Further developments are expected for the 5D file where other directors have appeared in this investigation.

Also, and for other issues that SPAK is investigating in the coming days, there will be developments and we will have more information about what SPAK is doing to Mayor Veliaj and the Municipality of Tirana as one of the most stigmatized and corrupt institutions in Albania ./ CNA
