The head of the Albanian Olympic Committee, Fidel Ylli, asked the government for more money, investments and an increase in the sports budget.

This statement was answered by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the medal distribution ceremony for the athletes who received medals in Paris.

Rama said that to finance a plan of the head of the Olympic Committee, Fidel Yllit, you must have the US budget.

According to Rama, there has never been such a government before that has supported sports in this way, and even the head of the Committee cannot deny this.

"To finance a Fidel plan, you have to have the US budget.

I do not deny that a government like this for sports has never had sport before and there is no way to find it before, first you have to have a vision, a passion.
