The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, revealed the meeting held between Edi Rama and the leader of SPAK.

In an interview for Syri Tv, Bardhi said that Rama invited Duman to a meeting. At first, Duman refused to hold the meeting, but later it was realized after Rama gave the support of SPAK with funds as the reason for the meeting.

"About a month, or a month and a half ago, Edi Rama called the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, to a meeting. I have a first hand source. Duman has refused the meeting with the prime minister. He informed the partner services that Rama wants to meet the head of SPAK. Under the advice of partner services, he asked Mr. Rama for motives and reasons for the meeting he wanted with Mr. Dumani. And after he was given an explanation that the prime minister wanted to support SPAK with funds, he went there together with a representative of the intelligence services, according to the information I have," said Bardhi.

According to him, the fact that the meeting was requested to take place unofficially is suspicious.

"This shows a certain integrity, because it is not forbidden for the leader of SPAK to officially meet the prime minister of the country. But what had attracted Duman's attention was that the meeting had been requested in a non-official way, but in an informal way and therefore he had followed this way, which for me gives me the confidence of a man of integrity. Will it be like this in the future, I don't know,"  said Gazment Bardh.
