Sonila Muhametaj, the prosecutor running for SPAK, has filed a lawsuit against the High Prosecution Council in the Court of Administrative Appeals.

Muhametaj requests that the decision of the KLP, which is related to the criteria and procedure for the promotion of prosecutors, be declared illegal.

The prosecutor claims that the regulation approved by KLP, in which the criteria for evaluating and scoring the candidates and then approving the list and finally appointing them to SPAK, is in conflict with the law.

Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that Muhametaj also opposes the point where it is stated that candidates must undergo a second vetting.

" The law requires that the candidate has passed the vetting with a final and unappealable decision ," she states in the indictment.

Muhametaj, who currently works at the Tirana prosecutor's office, is seeking promotion.

Sonila Muhametaj is one of the 8 candidates competing for 3 vacancies in the Special Prosecutor's Office.

She competed in SPAK with the support of the people of the incinerators and their partners or people paid by them.
