After 24 months in office, the head of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has submitted his resignation to the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha.

It is known that he will continue his duties until the election of the new director, deputy director Sokol Bizhga.

Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha will hold an urgent meeting with the main police leaders in the districts tomorrow.

The meeting will start at 10:00 and all district police directors, the general director of the State Police, as well as department directors will be part of the meeting.
