Prosecutor Adnan Xholi stated today that if he takes office as the new head of the Special Prosecution Office, he will continue to implement procedures one by one.

In his speech at the KLP meeting, Xholi also shared what he called important points.

Regarding the implementation of the procedure for cases of investigations with informants, Xholi said:

"There are zero cases where prosecutors notify the complainant. This is because we have to enforce the law. The obligation is to only enforce the complainant, not the accused. And it is impossible since the procedure also states that the complainants must be notified," said Xholi.

Xholi also focused on his strengths and weaknesses as an individual and a professional, which could affect him if elected to office.

"My strong point is meeting the criteria that this KLP Council has set. I have had 25 years in the institution and various duties. I find the academic part anti-stress, while the disadvantage is that I learn every day, I am not omniscient, I do not have the right experience for investigating cryptocurrencies. Every prosecutor hires experts and I try to learn myself. I try to take things more personally than necessary and thus I also take revenge on my family, but I have to distribute the powers to those who are paid for these jobs," said Xholi. /CNA
