Adnan Xholi in KLP: The number of prosecutors in SPAK should be increased

The candidate for head of SPAK, Adnan Xholi, during his presentation at the High Prosecutorial Council, emphasized that the number of prosecutors in the Special Prosecution Office should be increased.

Xholi said that he has requested that prosecutors specifically follow the files they are in charge of, especially those that hold "dozens of files", with the aim of avoiding delays and guaranteeing uninterrupted progress of investigations.

He emphasized that on several occasions he has also advocated changes in the subject matter competence of SPAK, which, according to him, would help balance the workload and focus on priority issues.

According to Xholi, one of the main measures to increase efficiency is to increase the number of prosecutors, which would bring "lower costs and faster results", improving the pace of investigations and the quality of work in the anti-corruption structure.

"The cases in SPAK last for months and years, I requested that prosecutors who have dozens of files and dossiers will have to be followed by them. We have expressed our opinion on changes in subject matter competence. By increasing the number of prosecutors, costs and quick results will be achieved," said Xholi./ CNA
