New SPAK/Lala head shares details about the selection process: Here's who

Journalist Klodiana Lala shared details today regarding the process of selecting the new head of the Special Prosecution Office.

Invited to Opinion with Blendi Fevziu, the journalist said that the process at the High Prosecutorial Council will be followed by many diplomats. Lala further added that the internationals want a person who is not easy to reach from politics.

"There is a clash between the internationals and the government. We have four candidates and one is a female candidate. We have Adnan Xholi, who is a career prosecutor. Klodian Braho is also a career prosecutor. Elvin Gogaj worked in the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office and then returned to SPAK. Tomorrow, there will be many diplomats at the KLP. Internationals will carefully observe the process. Each candidate will speak about the most important issues they have investigated. After the interviews are completed, the KLP will hold an open vote. If there is a runoff, there will be another vote. Tomorrow we will have Altin Dumani's successor. Representatives of the American embassy are very present. Internationals have seen SPAK as a very important institution in Albania. Foreigners have a preference. Internationals want a person who is not easy to reach from politics ," said Lala. /CNA
