Clashes over the People's Advocate/Flamur Noka: Salianji lobbied to sign

The selection of the new Ombudsman has created many debates and clashes between the opposition and the majority.

The opposition has withdrawn, saying that it has not voted for any of the candidates whose names will be submitted to parliament for a vote after the commission.

The entire problem of the opposition seems to be Endri Shabani as a candidate. On the other hand, the majority says that the names that the companies have submitted will be sent to the Assembly, we recall here that all the candidates belong to the opposition.

Regarding Endri Shabani's candidacy, DP Secretary General Flamur Noka intervened on the Top Story show and stated that he did not sign and that it was Ervin Salianji who lobbied for Endri Shabani to be signed.

"I did not sign, I asked my colleagues not to sign. Ervin Salianji lobbied for Endri Shabani to sign," said Noka.

Although the majority has left the way open for the opposition to select the People's Advocate, the latter clearly seems divided on this point as well. / CNA
