Adnan Xholi's confrontation in the KLP for the competition for the new head

At the hearing at the High Prosecutorial Council, the candidate for head of SPAK, Adnan Xholi, presented his platform aimed at increasing efficiency in investigations, concrete results, and transparency towards the public.

Xholi emphasized that confronting public opinion must be based on results, guaranteeing rapid investigations and irrefutable evidence in court. He underlined that he brings with him 27 years of experience, including 16 years as a leader in various prosecutorial structures, a period that, according to him, has given him the opportunity to manage difficult situations and provide concrete solutions.

During the presentation, he recalled that he has represented the prosecution at three levels of trial and has worked for eight years at the General Prosecutor's Office, being part of important judicial decision-making.

Xholi highlighted his experience in drafting acts and regulations, as well as his commitment to collecting issues from colleagues to create functional resolution mechanisms. He listed as his strengths legal expertise, ability to manage and direct investigative structures, and leading five joint investigative teams with France, Germany, the US and the UK.

In his career, he said, he has been engaged in important investigations into drug trafficking, money laundering and human trafficking, collaborating in cracking down on international criminal groups and confronting high-risk social entities.

Xholi also focused on the role of the head of SPAK, emphasizing that this function requires personal example, increased responsibility and integrity. He added that the success of a prosecutor is not measured by the number of proceedings, but by the results in court.

In closing, the candidate stated that if he gains the trust of the KLP, he will make available his outstanding expertise, managerial skills and extensive experience in matters of corruption, organized crime and sensitive files, including those from 1997./ CNA
