Glina Stream and Ishëm River Overflowing/Flooding in Some Areas

Heavy rain and bad weather have swept the country, causing flooding in many cities across the country. As a result of the high water levels, the Glina stream in Vau i Dejës has overflowed its banks, causing flooding in several areas.

It is also reported that the Ishëm River has overflowed its banks in the villages of Murqinë and Mallkuç. As a result, hundreds of hectares of agricultural land have been flooded and two neighborhoods in the village of Murqinë have been blocked.

Due to the malfunctioning of drainage channels, the situation continues to be problematic in several villages such as Bubqi, Gramza, Derveni, Luzi, Malkuçi, Murqina, Bilaj, where there are flooded roads and axes. /CNA
