The project of the 5-star hotel in Korça

Another strategic investment is expected to be added to the southeastern city of Korca.

"Green House Korça Resort", a 5-star resort of the highest European standards, will be built in one of the most attractive areas of Korça.

The hotel will have 94 rooms and will cover an area of ??10,000 m2. In addition to bringing more vibrancy, the resort will also increase employment in the city of serenades.

This investment will be made by a strategic investor, project benefiting from the status granted by the Committee of Strategic Investments (KIS).

"The project occupies a total area of ??10,000 m², in Cadastral Zone 8561, with property number 1/911 and is included in the Priority Tourism Development Zone (ZPZT), approved by the Decision of the National Council of the Territory no. 1, dated 26.07.2018 "On the announcement of 17 Priority Areas for Tourism Development in the territory of the Republic of Albania", amended.

The real estate with an area of ??10,000 m2, of the "land" type, has been administered by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (MTM) with VKM No. 301, dated 19.5.2021 "For the transfer to the administration responsibility of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, of real property, with an area of ??10,000 m2, of the land type, located in the cadastral area 8561, with property number 1/911, owned of Korçë Municipality" , it is stated in the decision published by the Albanian Investment Development Agency.

The same decision underlines that the investment value of the "Green House Korça Resort" project meets the criteria provided by the legislation for strategic investments and is expected to be 18.1 million euros and will employ 94 people.

The construction of this hotel will add even more tourists to Korça, not only during weekends, but also on other days of the week./ CNA.al
