Boycott of hearings/ Maks Haxhia makes a "scam" to cancel

The National Chamber of Advocates, led by Maks Haxhia, is "doing the dirty work" by showing the muscles of the justice institutions, to justify low scenarios in the service of the boss, Erion Veliaj.

Maks Haxhia also responds to the CNA editorial, which denounces his behind-the-scenes efforts to boycott the hearings, during the periods when the GJKKO holds hearings for the dismissed mayor Erion Veliaj, imprisoned since February 10 and charged with 13 charges, for 5 serious criminal offenses. Something that Haxhia described as absurd.

 

In a statement to the media, the President of the National Chamber of Advocates accused the High Inspectorate of Justice, the High Judicial Council and the High Prosecutorial Council of negligence, justifying that the behavior with the arrested lawyer in the courtroom had forced him to make the decision to boycott the hearings.

Further, Maks Haxhia, as Veliaj's servant, threatened to boycott court hearings for months if there was no reflection or if there was a similar situation to that of the lawyer.

" Clients have supported us and why are there claims in the media that a boycott is being carried out to postpone the hearings? It is absurd to think that the boycott is being postponed for a few days and the case was won or obstructed. The cup is full. If the situation continues, if there is another such case from the leading institutions, all processes will be abandoned for months ," Haxhia declared./ CNA
