Berisha extends his hand for unification/ Repeats the call for the democrats

The head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, at the meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, once again called on the democrats to unite against the enemy of Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha stated that this is not called a union for celebration but a union for battle against the fiercest enemy for Albania's future.

The leader of the Democratic Party warned his people that they should not stand idly by or have disagreements but get ready to welcome the democrats who want to return to their home.

He said that today, more than ever, DP and the opposition must be united.  

"The presidency is meeting today with the main motto of uniting all the democrats around the flag of their party, around ideals, contributions, and I think that the main message conveyed by this meeting is the hospitality of all those who over the years made undeniable contributions to this party and that for one reason or another, they have hesitated to join the majority, having as it is the issue of the flag logo which, as a great injustice, came to an end these days.

I repeat the call to all democrats who believe in the ideals they have defended and the contribution they have made to unite and continue our battle. It is not a union in celebration but a union in a battle of vital importance and decisive for the future of Albania.

I am addressing you, it is your duty and all the structures of our party to do everything to welcome in their home all those democrats who feel themselves as such and want to join us.

None of us has the right to look at any of them with suspicion, disdain and skepticism.

If you consider the fact that this is a union in battle before allowing yourself to be sceptic, don't forget that you are doing a favor to our common enemy, the vicious enemy, Edi Rama.

PD needs to unite today more than ever. Today, in the conditions in which Albania and Albanian society find themselves, a broad and united opposition front is of decisive importance," said Berisha/ CNA
