The Chairman of the Steering Council of RTSH, Leka Bungo, reported this Monday to the Media Commission about the 1-year activity of public television.

Bungo praised his work and that of RTSH staff, ignoring the successive violations denounced by CNA, but also those evidenced in the KLSH report.

He said that "television is experiencing an increase in production", keeping silent about the sports programs that disappeared from RTSH.

Bungo did not say a word about the fact that RTSH has lost the rights to broadcast almost all sports events and the only one left are the Champions League matches during this year, since next year they will not be broadcast anymore.

Also, he was silent about the loss of the broadcast rights of "Euro 2024".

"Throughout the television season from September 2023 and ending in July 2024, RTSH staff produces an average of 120 programs per week, with professional quality, always higher, both in terms of quantity and quality, both in terms of form, as well as from the content, as from the variety, as well as from the care to fulfill the needs for all legal bandages.

Currently, 18 television channels of the RTSH network, 7 radio channels and 3 'online' channels have returned after many years to the race track for audience alongside the best national private media in Albania. More and more programs, media channels and audiovisual products are going faster and better to the Albanian public, which are being welcomed more and more", emphasized the chairman of the RTSH Steering Council./ CNA
