Due to the very large flow of vehicle movement from the coastal areas towards Tirana and Morina, the Traffic Police has increased the presence of services on the national road axes and those entering the urban centers.

At the same time, the national axes are being monitored with drones to prevent wrong passing that is a potential risk for involvement in road events and for blocking the free movement of vehicles.

Due to the large influx, there is a slowdown in movement on the Shengjin-Lezhë-Milot, Gjiri i Lalzit-Vorë, Rrogozhinë-Bradashesh, and Librazhd-Bradashesh road axes, but according to the police, there is no traffic jam at any time.

There is also an increased flow on the Durrës-Tirana and Elbasan-Tirana interurban roads.

The Traffic Police appeals to drivers to stay in line, not to make wrong passes, respect the speed on axes that do not have increased flow, and use alternative routes.

The Traffic Police Services are using all logistical means to monitor traffic in order to prevent accidents and eliminate delays or blockages due to the violation of traffic rules./ CNA
