SPAK has extended the investigations for former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj by 3 months.
The extension of the investigations was requested by the two prosecutors of the case, Altin Dumani and Enkeleda Millonai. They were expected to finish on June 21, but with the extended deadline they will close in September.
The former deputy prime minister, who is on the run, is accused of "money laundering", "concealment of assets" and "passive corruption".
Arben Ahmetaj's reactions to these accusations since his escape have not been few.
He has "shot" the incinerator media, as he raises suspicions that they are trying to pressure him not to speak.
Ahmetaj emphasizes that even if this is the goal, he will not stop speaking, as he published the report of foreign experts who claimed that the charges brought against him are not supported by evidence.
