The Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, has warned all institutions that if they do not reduce the energy consumption bill, they will be fined.

Ballulku said that a 15% reduction in consumption in these institutions would bring a 1% reduction in the entire country.

"We have no intention of blocking work processes, but we are talking about computers that turn on and never turn off, air conditioners that stay on even when they shouldn't, lights that illuminate facades. We would like all the historic facades and buildings to always remain visible, but today we have to save. In the event that in two consecutive months there will be no response from your institution, we will not see that there is a decrease in consumption compared to the previous year, then we will be forced through the task force to impose a fine that is provided for in the normative act. Of course, the fine is imposed on the institution, but it goes to the owner's account", said Belinda Balluku./ CNA.al
