A 14-year-old fell into the hands of the police after he was caught red-handed while leaving with a vehicle he had just stolen.

The vehicle was stolen in the "11-janari" neighborhood, but the police intervened in time and caught the 14-year-old red-handed while he was leaving with the vehicle.

From the investigative actions carried out, it was found that this citizen, in cooperation with 2 other minors (previously criminally prosecuted, at large), stole 3 vehicles during the period August-September 2023.

With the quality of material evidence, 4 stolen vehicles were seized.

The procedural actions with the 14-year-old were carried out in the presence of the lawyer, the psychologist, the NJMF employee and the legal guardian of the 14-year-old.

Investigations continue to clarify other thefts that these minors may have committed.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
