The Freedom Party has accused Erion Veliaj of stealing 45 million euros from the Albanians for the past 7 years and will not stop for at least another 3 years.

The Secretary for Public Relations in the Freedom Party, Silva Caka, in a statement said that the lack of transparency of the Municipality in relation to the destination of the money collected from the education tax, is only an indicator of the theft of money from the citizens of Tirana.

She said that with the European standard, the Municipality of Tirana should have built over 40 new schools, but with the standard of Erion Veliaj's theft, only 9 schools are built with 45 million euros.

Erion Veliaj stole 45 million euros from Albanians for the past 7 years and will not stop for at least another 3 years.

The temporary education infrastructure tax, which Erion Veliaj turned into a permanent tax, has been levied by the municipality of Tirana for over 7 years, but the service received back for this tax is far from what was expected to be achieved at the time it was decided tax.

Erion Veliaj promised that with the money collected from this tax, he would improve the educational infrastructure of the public schools in Tirana, but we are all witnesses that the public schools of Tirana are in a scandalous state: the heating does not exist even though we are in 2023, the laboratories are a foreign word to our children and second and third shift teaching continues to this day.

In the feasibility study carried out at the time the temporary education tax was implemented, there was talk of about 40 public schools that would undergo transformation, but from the investigations carried out by the media, it appears that only 9 of them have been built or reconstructed.

Kur pyetet se ku kanë shkuar këto para, Erion Veliaj na tregon përralla me suksese imagjinare, duke përfshirë si meritë e tij edhe shkollat që janë ndërtuar apo rikonstruktuar me paratë e donatorëve të huaj.

E meqënëse jemi këtu, i rikujtojmë gjithë qytetarëve shqiptarë se një shkollë me kapacitet të lartë nxënësish, e ndërtuar nga e para nga donatorët e huaj, nuk shkon më shumë 900.000 Euro, ndërsa po i njëjti volum punimesh, në dorën e çakallit të vjedhjes, kap vlerën e rreth 4 milionë euro.

Me standardin europian, Bashkia e Tiranës duhej të kishte ndërtuar mbi 40 shkolla të reja, por me standardin e vjedhjes së Erion Veliajt, me 45 milionë euro ndërtohen vetëm 9 shkolla.

E si të mos mjaftonte kjo vjedhje 7 vjeçare, pa asnjë justifikim, studim apo transparencë, Erion Veliaj kërkon të marrë edhe për 3 vite të tjera para nga kjo taksë, duke vjedhur në mënyrë të vazhdueshme banorët e Tiranës.

Mungesa e transparencës nga Erion Veliaj, tregon frikën e tij nga hajdutëria dhe abuzimi i përditshëm me taksat e qytetarëve.
