The shareholders of the incinerator agree to SPAK/ They do not know each other,

Day by day, new facts come out that shed light on the mega-affair of the incinerators, an issue that CNA has been denouncing for years.

SPAK seized the incinerator of Tirana, while during the investigations for the concession, the shareholders who appear in the official documents were also questioned.

Through letters, the Special Prosecutor's Office has directed several questions to Alberto Presezzi of "Bruno Presezzi spa", Salvatore Ruselli of "Hydro srl", Thomas Hansman of "Paul Wurth" and Ernesto Granelli of "Energy Recuperator".

These people turn out to be the shareholders of the parent company of the Tirana incinerator, founded in the Netherlands, "Integrated Energy BV", which later changed its name to "Geogenix BV".

Alberto Presezzi, Salvatore Ruselli, Thomas Hansman and Ernesto Granelli have stated for SPAK that they do not know each other and neither do the people who had leadership roles at "Geogenix BV".

They have stated that they only know the "brains" of the incinerators, Mirel Mërtir and Klodian Zoto, and claim that they do not know who registered them as the ultimate owners.

Thomas Hansman , in the response to SPAK, said that he was separated from "Integrated Energy BV" since December 2017 , three months after the company won the concession contract of Sharra.

Alberto Presezzi has stated that together with the Swiss company "Icare" they own the majority of the shares of "Geogenix BV", but he has emphasized that their shares are dormant, without legal force , since they could not find the financing of 100 million euros for the incinerator. Tirana.

Likewise, even Salvatore Ruselli, who owns 25% of the shares, claims that he has no hand in the affair. He has informed SPAK that he has only 1 quote of negligible value.

On the other hand, Ernesto Granelli, although he is a 30% shareholder, has stated that he has no idea that his company won the contract for the waste plant in Tirana.

In response to SPAK, the four shareholders have emphasized that they know Mirel Mërtir and Klodian Zoto through the Italian Giusepe Ciaffaglione.

They identify the duo Mërtiri-Zoto as the leaders of the Sharra concession. These statements, together with e-mails, documents and facts have convinced SPAK that Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto are the "de facto" owners of the Sharra incinerator./ CNA.al
