The deputy of the Socialist Party, Milva Ekonom, is one of the people involved in signing the concession contract for sterilization.

On December 10, 2015, Ekonomi signed the contract with the concessionaire company "Saniservice", in the position of director of the Compulsory Health Care Insurance Fund.

This fact has been evidenced by the report of the Supreme State Audit of 2018, carried out in the Compulsory Health Care Insurance Fund.

On page number 153 of the KLSH report, it is stated that the socialist deputy is one of the signatories for the service that has been extended to 5 hospitals in Tirana, Shkodër and Elbasan.

A fact that should be highlighted is that Economy, the same one that signed the concession, is part of the Parliamentary Investigation Commission of the sterilization concession.

The deputy is one of the members of this investigative commission, set up after the insistence of the opposition.

It is absurd how SP appointed members of the investigative commission to a deputy who has a conflict of interest.

This raises the question of whether Milva Ekonomi can investigate itself for signing this concession contract, which is already being investigated by SPAK?

Former Deputy Minister of Health, Klodian Rjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj were arrested for this concession contract. Also, the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, is under investigation./ CNA
