Beer Festival in Korça

The Beer Festival, one of the biggest events organized in Korça, is now also in the attention of the world media.

The online media elDiario.es in Spain has dedicated an article to Korça and the Beer Festival comparing it to Octoberfest, the biggest beer festival in the world that is organized in Germany.

"You may not fall in love with it at first sight, but Korça has gained popularity for Korça, its local beer and the symbol of Albania. Every August, the most important beer festival in the country is organized there. We are talking about the Festival of Very famous beer. Approximately 100,000 participants take part in this event, which has little to envy to the German Oktoberfest," the article reads. 

Further in the article, it is emphasized that Berat, Gjirokastra and Korça are three cities that cannot be missing from the itinerary of tourists visiting Albania. 

"Especially the first two will leave you speechless, as with their architectural styles they are like open museums. Both were declared World Heritage sites in 2008 and coincide with a castle that dominates them in height", it is said in writing.
