The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, raised concerns about the devaluation of the euro.

He says that foreign trade suffered a loss of 170 million euros due to the exchange rate.

According to him, the government and the Bank of Albania should discuss with production and transportation associations to avoid this crisis

"Foreign trade suffered a loss of 170 million euros due to the exchange rate. 1.4 million Albanians who benefit from remittances have been harmed. The Albanian consumer did not benefit from the devaluation of the euro, but only the government and a group. This government is not bothered by this plug provoked by the high flows of dirty money in circulation. It is urgent that the government and the Bank of Albania discuss with producer and transport associations to avoid this crisis, otherwise the crisis will bring unpredictable consequences.
