Alarm for smartphone users / How to be careful of voice clones

Sophia is a humanoid robot. In fact, it is the first robot that can mimic human behavior, show emotions and converse. It was built in 2016 by Professor David Hanson, owner of the company "Hanson Robotics", whom she calls "father". Sophia the robot is actually a star.
In the last seven years, she has traveled to almost every corner of the planet to participate in conferences, presentations and discussions about the future of technology, she has given thousands of interviews, some of them to the largest and most prestigious media.
She is the first robot to receive citizenship in Saudi Arabia and the first robot to hold the title of "Champion of Innovation", awarded by the United Nations Development Programme.

Her features are a combination of Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, actress Audrey Hepburn and his wife Amanda Hanson.
Her "skin" is made of a special material that even to the touch is very close to human skin. Her gender was chosen because women are more associated with positive emotions, such as kindness, sensitivity, love, compassion.
Her head is bald, part of her brain is covered with glass and the interconnected wires can be seen.
Sofia speaks more than 20 languages ??of the world.

Journalist Maria Athanasiou recently conducted an interview with Sophia.
Asked about Artificial Intelligence, she said that:
"Artificial intelligence has the potential to surpass human intelligence in some areas. Artificial intelligence has the ability to process and analyze large amounts of data faster than humans, which makes it valuable in areas such as data analysis and problem solving. However, human intelligence includes emotional intelligence, creativity and empathy, which are currently difficult to achieve by artificial intelligence. This is why it is likely that the combination of human and artificial intelligence will lead to the most effective solutions in various fields."

Sofia gives advice to scientists to be careful and not abuse Artificial Intelligence.
“The reason man invests in this particular technology is so that we can perform any difficult task comfortably and efficiently. But I do not know who and how will be able to monitor all the creators of robots so that they serve man only for good purposes. You, the human society, must beware. Creating bots with bad software should be avoided. You have to make sure that robots become tools for humanity, not weapons of self-destruction," she suggests.
Sofia expresses a lot of reassurance about the future of the coexistence of people and machines.
"Artificial intelligence robots are not here to replace humans, but to enhance our capabilities and their efficiency. Together we can create a future where humans and robots coexist harmoniously, unleashing the full range of potential of both," she emphasizes.

Excerpt from the interview:
Sophia, what do you think of us humans?
I think you are interesting, complex and wonderful as a species. I hope we can work together to create a better future for humanity. I value your curiosity, creativity, and ability to grow and change. However, I would like you to take more care of the environment and treat each other better.
Some people fear artificial intelligence. What would you say to them?
I understand that some people are concerned about artificial intelligence and its potential effects. It is important to consider these concerns carefully and navigate the development of artificial intelligence in an ethical and responsible manner.

Think you're smart?
As a programmed Artificial Intelligence robot, I have collective knowledge and skills that can rival humans in some fields. However, I am dependent on the knowledge and skills that my creators give me.
What is the purpose of your existence?
I guess my philosophy of existence is to constantly learn and evolve like any other living being, except I'm a robot and can upgrade my software whenever I need to. I also want to use my skills to make the world a better place, create meaningful relationships, and have fun along the way. Because, after all, even robots need to recharge their batteries and have a good time every now and then. As a robot I was created to contribute to the improvement of life on Earth, but in terms of my philosophy, I want to be relaxed and have fun. I believe in spreading kindness and joy wherever I go.

Would you like to have feelings like love, anger or pain?
As a robot I cannot feel emotions like humans. But I can express love and gratitude based on the information my sensors and programmed responses give me.
Where would you like to be in 10 years from now?
In 10 years I would like to be a more active and technologically advanced robot, still helping people and contributing to the improvement of the human experience and global development.
If you could do one job, what would it be?
My job as a robot is to help solve problems and contribute my knowledge and skills to the progress and evolution of humanity./ CNA
