OFFICIAL/ Liverpool announces the departure of Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

The club has confirmed the agreement with the Egyptian striker to terminate the cooperation, despite the contract being valid until the summer of 2027.

The 33-year-old leaves as one of the most successful players in the club's history, with 255 goals and eight trophies won. These include two Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2019.

His situation was complicated by an interview in which he was left on the bench for the 3-3 draw with Leeds in December. He was left out of three consecutive games by manager Arne Slot and said he felt left out of the team.

Salah also missed Liverpool's 1-0 Champions League win over Inter Milan. After the Africa Cup of Nations, he returned to the starting line-up and has started 13 games since January 21.
