Agreement reached, Zidane will lead the great national team

Zinedine Zidane will take charge of the French national team, with only the formality missing.

According to French media, he has reached a preliminary agreement to succeed Didier Deschamps after the World Cup.

Deschamps has confirmed that this year's tournament will be his last in charge of Les Bleus. Zidane has not managed a team since leaving Real Madrid in 2021.

He has rejected offers from clubs such as Juventus, Manchester United and a return to Real Madrid. With the Madrid team, Zidane won three consecutive Champions Leagues between 2016 and 2018.

France have already qualified for the World Cup and will play friendlies against Brazil and Colombia. In the group stage, the French will face Senegal and Norway.
