Inter "gets stuck" again, takes a false step in the title race

Inter didn't go further than a 1-1 draw against Fiorentina on the road.

The Blues took the lead through Pio Esposito in the first minute, but failed to close the match despite numerous chances.

"La Viola" showed character and managed to equalize in the 77th minute with midfielder Cher Ndour.

This result leaves Inter without a win in their last three matches, seeing their advantage over Milan narrow to six points.

For Fiorentina, this was their fifth consecutive match without defeat, a run that keeps them two points clear of the relegation zone.

Moise Kean and Jack Harrison were close to scoring the winning goal for the home team, but Sommer and luck saved Chivu's team.

The race for the Serie A title now remains open, while Fiorentina is confirmed as a "strong bone" for the big teams.
