Araujo scores, Barcelona moves closer to the championship title

Barcelona has taken another confident step towards the La Liga title, recording its fifth consecutive victory in the championship.

The team led by Hansi Flick triumphed with a minimum score of 1-0 over Rayo Vallecano, in the match valid for the 29th week.

The hero for the Catalans was defender Ronald Araujo, who sent the ball into the net in the 24th minute, after an assist from Joao Cancelo.

With this success, Barcelona consolidates its position at the top of the standings with 73 points, temporarily separating itself by 7 points from second-place Real Madrid, which awaits a heated derby against Atletico.

On the other hand, Rayo Vallecano remains in 14th place with 32 points, still not completely secure for survival.
