Serie A "fills" the national team, Albania also benefits

Serie A has entered a break due to international commitments, with the focus on the 2026 World Cup play-offs and some friendlies.

This interruption has led to the movement of 175 players to their national teams. This number shows the high level of the Italian championship and its influence on international football.

The Albanian national team is also represented by four Serie A players. Berat Gjimshiti from Atalanta, Ardian Ismajli from Turin, Elseid Hysaj from Lazio and Ylber Ramadani from Lecce have been recruited by coach Silvinjo.

They are expected to have an important role in the play-off challenges. Their contribution is related to the experience gained in an elite championship.

The gatherings will last until the middle of next week, before returning to their respective clubs.
