Tensions in the Middle East, two Formula 1 races canceled

Two important races of the Formula 1 season will be removed from the calendar due to the tense situation in the Middle East.

This concerns the Bahrain Grand Prix and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which will be canceled for security reasons.

Both races are considered among the most profitable of the season, but developments in the region have forced the organizers to review the plan. According to information circulating in international media, the decision has been made and only official confirmation is awaited.

The announcement could be made during the weekend of the Shanghai race. The Bahrain Grand Prix was scheduled for April 12, with the Saudi Arabian race a week later.

Security concerns and logistical difficulties in transporting equipment have influenced this decision. If confirmed, this season's calendar could be reduced to 22 races.
