Partizan wins amid tension, penalty and two red cards in Elbasan

Partizan won 1-0 against Elbasan in the first quarterfinal match of the Albanian Cup.

The match held at "Elbasan Arena" ended goalless in the first half, amid chances created by both teams and a temporary interruption due to tension in the stands, where the home fans erupted in insults towards coach Oltion Kërnaja.

In the second half, the home team had several good scoring opportunities, but failed to convert them. The decisive moment came in the 88th minute, when the referee awarded a penalty to Partizan and showed Arsen Kasa a second yellow card.

From the penalty spot, Skuka proved to be accurate, scoring the only goal of the match. Earlier, there were protests from Elbasan's staff, with coach Gvozdenovic being punished with a red card.

The return match will be played at the "Arena e Demave", where Partizan will defend the lead.
