OFFICIAL/ The bench is "shaken", the London club dismisses the coach

Tottenham have announced the departure of coach Thomas Frank from the team's management.

The decision comes at a difficult time for the London club, which is ranked 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone.

The 1-2 home defeat to Newcastle was their 15th in the league this season. The team has not won in their last eight games and has taken just 12 points from a possible 51 in their last 17 matches.

Frank took charge in June, with a contract until 2028. However, the league win percentage was 26.9%, the lowest for a Tottenham manager in the Premier League era.

The club stressed that, despite initial support, poor results made the change necessary at this stage of the season.
