Tirana strengthens ahead of Partizan, champion midfielder arrives

The Tirana club has secured the signing of Bosnian midfielder Rijad Kobiljar for the remainder of the season, a move that comes just days before the derby with Partizan.

The 29-year-old comes to the capital to fill the void left by Freddy Alvarez. The former Olimpija Ljubljana player is seen as the man who will carry the weight of the white-blue midfield.

Kobiljar has had a rich career, notably winning the Slovenian football league championship. Most recently, he has been part of Sakaryaspor in Turkey, showing good physical form.

The midfielder is known for his vision of the game and the calmness he brings to the organization of the action. Tirana's managers hope that his European experience will help the team save the season.
