Shameful scenes in Elbasan, Partizani coach insulted in chorus. Match interrupted

The quarterfinal match of the Albanian Cup between Elbasan and Partizan was accompanied by high tensions on the stadium steps, forcing the interruption of the game for several minutes.

During the match, a section of the home fans started chanting insults at Partizan coach Oltijon Kërnaja. Despite the efforts of Elbasan captain Arsen Kasa to calm the situation, the insults continued, prompting the referee to stop the game for several minutes.

The shameful scenes are expected to have consequences for the Elbasan club, as the case will be reviewed by the Disciplinary Committee of the Albanian Football Association.

This match, considered one of the most important of the current phase of the Cup, was tarnished by the behavior of a group of fans.
