Napoli beats Roma to join Milan at the top

Napoli won 1-0 against Roma at the Olimpico, moving level with Milan at the top of Serie A. The only goal was scored in the 36th minute by Neres after a quick counterattack, an action that prompted protests from Roma for an earlier foul.

In the second half, Roma made some changes in the offensive department, but could not find space to equalize, with Milinkovic-Savic decisive at the end.

In the next match, Atalanta won 2-0 against Fiorentina, giving coach Palladino his first victory in the championship.

Kossounou opened the scoring with a deflected shot in the 41st minute, while Lookman doubled the lead early in the second half. Fiorentina tried to respond with Kean, but the striker hit the post and failed to change the score.

Atalanta managed the game until the end and climbed to 16 points, while Fiorentina remained at the bottom of the standings.
