Bundesliga/ Dortmund wins superchallenge against Leverkusen

Borussia Dortmund triumphed 2-1 over Bayer Leverkusen in the super challenge of week 12 in the Bundesliga.

Leverkusen started the match better after their recent positive form, but failed to convert their chances in the first half.

Dortmund took advantage of a set piece late in the first half, with Anselmino scoring with a header.

In the second half, Leverkusen missed a good chance with Tillman, while Dortmund doubled their lead with a goal from Adeyemi in the 65th minute. Leverkusen reacted late and narrowed the score with Kofane in the 83rd minute.

The last-ditch efforts did not change the result and Dortmund managed to hold on to the end of the match. With this victory, Dortmund climbed to third place with 25 points, passing Leverkusen who holds fourth place with 23 points.
